SADACCA Study Support

SADACCA continues to identify and embrace the need for extra support in education for African Caribbean Children.

The Study Support Project works with parents, schools and other service providers in order to identify individual educational needs of pupils between the ages of five and sixteen years old. We offer supplementary education in a structured and supportive environment and endeavour to raise pupil‘s attainment levels throughout the National Curriculum. Our on-going support service provides a wide range of activities and opportunities to boost the confidence level and develop self-esteem of all the young pupils attending the project. We also focus on developing activities which enhance positive attitudes in all users of the scheme. Attendance is voluntary and children might attend one, two or three evenings per week. Some children have used the scheme for the past six years, while others drop in for shorter periods to gain help with particular problems.
